*This Hotel will have a block of rooms reserved from Thur. August 31st - Mon. September 4th and includes a free shuttle to and from the venue on the night of the wedding. A full hot buffet style breakfast with an omelet station for up to 4 guests per room per day is included with the price and complimentary wine tasting on Thursday and Friday night. Reservations must be made prior to August 11th, 2006 or they will not be available at the discounted rate. Please mention the Crow/Tsepas wedding when making reservations to get the discount. AIRPORTS and AIRLINES:
Airports to fly in are ranked as followed: 1.) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) = Largest Airport with the most flights and largest Rental Car Selection. A 45 minute drive to the accomodations/wedding venue. 2.) Burbank Airport (BUR) = Smaller and less nonstop flights to this airport and also about 45 minutes drive to hotels/wedding venue. 3.) Long Beach Airport (LGB) = furthest airport (~ 1hr 15 minutes) and not recommended, but if you get an excellent flight price, you may consider this one.

Southwest Airlines = leaves from Laguardia, Baltimore, and Philadelphia and goes to BUR and LAX

American Airlines, Continental Airlines, and United Airlines, etc. = largest, most reliable/affordable airlines that go to BUR and LAX

Jet Blue = goes from JFK to BUR and LGB only

Look to Book your flight with the actual Airline rather than Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, and other such search engines to avoid paying an extra fee. SHOP AROUND!

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
The famous beaches of Malibu are less than half an hour away. Universal Studios, Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain are just a 45-minute drive from your hotel. Nearby are some of the most challenging golf courses in the west including the pristine Tierra Rejada Golf Club and Lost Canyon Golf Club. Downtown LA is about 1 hour away. Pasadena is about 45 minutes away. Santa Barbara is about 1.5 hours away. San Diego is about 2.5-3 hours away. Wine country is found just north of Santa Barbara in the San Ynez Valley (as featured in the movie "Sideways") and Temecula (just North of San Diego).

HOW WE MET: My Jersey boy Demetri and the best man Ort backpacked Europe in 2001 and as fate would have it, met Ray & friends...(from CA) Ray was dating a co-worker of mine and now great friend, Linette Jackson...in May of 2003, Demetri had an opportunity to intern in a Physical Therapy office located in Tarzana, CA., Ray and his family graciously offered their home to him during his three month stay. It was Memorial Day weekend, Linette & I were in the to-go line at In-N-Out on Ventura Blvd, Linette invites me to Ragae Nights for some fun-n-dancing that Friday night...I wasn't too sure because I had a sunburn and I thought I needed to nurse it...all of a sudden Linette sees a familiar face (Greek God!) walking towards us and flags him down, turns out to be Demetri, she introduces us and invites him to join us, he politely declines. I then advised her that I WOULD be at Ragae Nights!!! It was a summer of love that became long lasting, long distance love...he graduated grad school in 2004 and drove down to good ole sunny SoCal with his good buddy Ort, leaving the snowy, cold Jersey behind but never forgotten!

THE PROPOSAL: One of our favorite get aways is San Diego, CA. Demetri made arrangements to stay with our friends Brian & Ian (as usual) for the weekend. We did the 3 hour drive, chilled Friday night, went on a nice bicycle ride Saturday morning and in the afternoon Demetri suggested we take a drive to Mt. Soledad and check out the mountain top, breathtaking views, with Brian, Ian and Danger in tow; we set off with the video camera in the capable hands of Ian...we proceeded to the top of the stairs which is where the cross is placed. Demetri asks Ian to "get this on tape", he takes my hands, looks in my eyes, tells me how much he loves me and that it's time to....as he gets down on one knee...retrieves the box from his pocket !OMG...! asks me if I will be his wife and do him the honor of marrying him!!! Needless to say I was in shock and amazement!!!! It took a few minutes to sink in and process. Of course I enthusiastically, happily replied YES!!!!!!!! It was very special and unforgettable...I love you Demetri!
